Maintenance Engineering Technician

Job Summary:

Our client in Liberty, NC is looking for a Maintenance Engineering Technician. This is a contract position.

What You Will Do:

Test and repair electrical equipment or systems. (Involving circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, servo drives, etc.).Strong ability to write, program, troubleshoot, modify and/or repair programmable logic controllers, robotics, cameras, and other electronic equipment.Plan and execute machine integration into mass production, leveling, adjustment and quality conformation for assigned work area.Perform basic administrative skills including documentation of work performed by written/electronic methods.Ability to problem solve and continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity.Develop denwacho (detail schedule) for assigned work area / project.Participate in project planning with Engineering.Demonstrate the ability to learn new processes.Supporting Machine production trials at vendors and internal to company. Certify Safety of Equipment per MMR/MMS (NFPA79 and ISO standards) via “Safety Integrity Check

Basics:

Industrial Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment or equipment installation and debugging experienceExperience with Electrical and/or mechanical systems in an industrial manufacturing environmentTechnical experience with PLCs in programming, including read, write and modify logicTechnical experience with Servo Motion ControllersTechnical experience with relay logic including wiring and troubleshootingTechnical experience with Robotics including programming and troubleshooting.Experience with Hydraulic or Pneumatic troubleshooting and schematic readingAvailability to work overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdownsAbility for business travel, both domestic and international - up to 30%.

Preferred:

Technical associate degree or higher or equivalent experienceExperience in Pre-Production set upExperience with Production Processes including Standardized Work (STW) and Job Instruction Sheets (JIS)Experience gathering and analyzing quality data from multiple sourcesNew plant or facility startup experience.Experience with high volume production in a clean room environment.
