Primary Responsibilities:
Follow all safety protocols when executing work on Crown property. Ability to troubleshoot and repair machine equipment and utilities utilizing testing equipment, technical manuals, online and phone support. Good understanding of electrical control voltage up to 480Vac systems, with good working knowledge of VOM. Apply quality craftsmanship while installing electrical or mechanical systems throughout all of Crown facilities. Ability to read and understand electrical & mechanical drawings to aide in equipment and plant repairs. Capable of using a computer to troubleshoot PLCs, welders, HMIs, VFDs, etc. Must be able to organize a project, provide direction to others, and help train department employees, as needed. Install and maintain jib or bridge type crane structures. Identify, locate, order, and/or fabricate parts required to make necessary repairs to equipment. Thoroughly document all repairs made to equipment utilizing the work order system. Execute PMs, work orders, track part inventories and time using CMMs system. Self-motivated with good time management skills. Provide shift reports to communicate to other departments and off-shifts. Operate and drive construction equipment, trucks, lift trucks, carry deck, scissor & boom lift, etc. Support Engineering projects that may require, welding, millwright duties, setting machines etc. Prior experience with CNC or machining equipment a plus. Willing to train on or off-site w/ equipment manufacturers. Basic computer skills, i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe pdf Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Willingness to work any shift (2nd/3rd) This position requires a high school diploma. Two years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance preferred. Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems required - must be able to read and understand prints and diagrams. Ability to effectively work with servicemen, supervisors, and operators. Basic computer skills required - Excel, Outlook, etc. CNC machine service and programmable controller experience would be a plus.
