Arvato is seeking a hands on and self-motivated Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead the proactive and preventative facility maintenance across our facility in Shepherdsville, Kentucky.  In this role, you will be able to leverage your knowledge and experience in facilities management and work cross-functionally to maximize equipment and facility resources while meeting safety and budget requirements.  

 

YOUR TASKSSupervise, guide and assign projects to supervisors, project engineers and engineering technicians relating to the engineering, development, maintenance and special projects of all machinery and equipmentBe responsible for overseeing all vendors on property, negotiating with vendors to reduce overhead costs and any facility related repairs and general upkeepDelegate work projects for the improvement of efficiency and reliability of equipment used in operationsMaintain equipment PM records and lead in reducing downtime of equipmentAssist and/or lead in research and development of new products, processes or CAPEX projectsDevelop and modify equipment to meet the department’s production, quality or layout requirementsVendors include but not limited to housekeeping, recycling, trash and miscellaneous day to day requirementsAssist in new building selection and fit out to meet arvato specifications
