Maintenance Fitter

The Role:

 

The Maintenance Fitter will be a part of the Engineering team, you will utilise your trade and other skills to support and enhance the performance of job changes and maintenance of several independent section glass manufacturing machines whilst ensuring safety and quality. Although this role does require some flexibility it is a day shift role, working Monday to Friday.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Inspect, maintain, monitor, troubleshoot and repair all equipment as required Respond to breakdowns Partake in daily job changes  Conduct routine preventative maintenance tasks  Assist the Engineering team where required Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained

 

 

What We’re Looking For:

 

Trade Qualification – Maintenance Fitter Pneumatic Experience Previous experience in fault finding automated machinery Proven attention to detail Ability to manage changing priorities Capacity to work autonomously Flexibility in working hours Strong safety focus

 

In conjunction with the above, the successful applicant will possess strong communication skills, have a high level of initiative and a ‘can do’ attitude. Being able to work as part of a team as well as independently is imperative as is experience within a maintenance team environment.
