Wagners are currently seeking a suitably qualified Permanent Full-Time Maintenance Fitters who have a strong, personal commitment to safety and is willing to expand on their current skills. Working a Continuous Shift Roster which will consist of a rotational basis between day and night shift, each shift will be 12 hours in length. There will also be an opportunity to work overtime from time to time.

Our Maintenance Fitter is primarily responsible for undertaking the general maintenance and servicing of the Pinkenba Cement Plant as well as the following:

Horizontal Ball MillVertical Roller MillBelt and Screw conveyorsStorage SilosBagging ShedDust CollectorsOxy cutting and welding of materialsAssembly and modification of plant and equipmentDiagnose and rectification of mechanical faultsImplementation and continuous improvement of safety initiatives

To be considered you must possess the following:

A strong safe work ethicRelevant mechanical trade qualifications in Fitting & Turning/Mechanical Fitter/Fitter WelderExperience with computerised maintenance systemsExperience working within an engineering fabrication environmentPossess flexibility, adaptability and versatility of approach to handle changing work requirementsAbility to establish and manage working relationships with Directors, Senior Management Team and Wagner employee
