Job Title: Maintenance Foreman/Supervisor
Department: Maintenance
SUMMARY
Ketjen is currently seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Foreman/Supervisor to work within our Pasadena, TX plant. This position reports to a Maintenance Superintendent and is responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient execution of maintenance jobs. This role supports supervising craftsman (direct and nested), fill the role of competent person for lifting and rigging, and administrative duties such as auditing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Improve work force productivity and quality thru oversight of job executionWalk down jobs to oversee permit executionIdentify any potential safety hazards that may need to be addressed in job executionInterface with Reliability Department to execute reliability improvements.Provides oversight for the lifting and rigging programEnsures lifting activities are conducted safely as per proceduresReviews and approves lift plans for critical liftsReviews, approves and issues lifting permitsEnsures Crane Operators, Riggers, and Signal Persons are qualified / certified and carry a card or documentation to show thisEnsures mobile cranes, lifting devices and rigging equipment are inspected and certified for useAudit cranes, hoists, mobile equipment, tools, etc. to ensure that Pre-Operational Checks are being performed, records properly maintained, and safety related repairs identified/completed in a timely manner.EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
~10 years' experience in a maintenance roll and prefer at least 5 of those years in a foreman/supervisory role.HS Diploma or equivalentGood communication skills at all levels of the organizationIndependent self-starter with results-oriented focusTrained to level of intermediate rigger by a qualified training program e.g., NCCER Intermediate Rigger, NCCCO Rigger Level II.Required Skills:
