Maintenance Generalist D-Shift Full-Time, RVI-Harmony

Responsibilities:

Perform preventive maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery, including lubrication, inspections, adjustments, and replacements, to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and mechanical issues, diagnosing problems and implementing repairs or adjustments as needed to minimize downtime. Conduct electrical maintenance tasks, such as troubleshooting electrical circuits, replacing fuses, switches, and motors, and performing basic electrical repairs. Repair and maintain hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and other mechanical components, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and conveyors. Assist in the installation, setup, and calibration of new equipment and machinery, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards. Conduct facility maintenance tasks, including plumbing repairs, carpentry work, and general building maintenance, to ensure a safe and functional work environment. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment readings, and repairs performed, recording data in logbooks and computerized systems. Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to schedule maintenance activities, prioritize tasks, and address urgent maintenance needs. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in maintenance techniques and technologies.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in industrial maintenance, mechanical technology, or a related field preferred. 1 year of industrial maintenance experience, with demonstrated expertise in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of equipment and machinery. Experience with preventive maintenance practices, including knowledge of lubrication techniques, inspections, and equipment reliability principles.
