Job Details:
The Maintenance Generalist (MG01) is an entry-level maintenance position responsible for performing preventative maintenance and assisting in maintaining and repairing equipment and company assets. This role ensures a safe work environment and adheres to Tyson Food’s policies and procedures. Responsibilities:
Assemble and disassemble equipment.
Operate and maintain mobile equipment.
Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment.
Engage in physical activities such as climbing, standing, bending, sitting, and carrying/pushing/pulling up to 70 lbs multiple times monthly.
Work in varying temperature conditions, both hot and cold.
Work overtime and weekends as needed. Follow instructions and communicate effectively. Work at heights. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Requirements:
Up to six months of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance; agriculture milling experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license.
Basic computer skills for training purposes. Ability to work at heights.
Ability to obtain and retain PIT Certification
