POSITION SUMMARY
The Maintenance Helper at Brunswick Job Corps Center is responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation for students, as well as performing preventative maintenance and repairs on the Center's facilities and grounds. Adams and Associates, the employer, is a 100% employee-owned company focused on operating programs for at-risk youth and children. The position requires maintaining vehicle documentation, conducting inspections, and supervising Work-Based Learning students to enhance their employability skills.
Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and inspections of the Center’s facilities and systems to ensure functionality
Complete, track, and document work status and notify supervisor of issues
Supervise Work-Based Learning students to enhance their employability skills
Provide timely and efficient student transportation services
Maintain appropriate vehicle documentation per DOL/Company requirements
Schedule and deliver vehicles for preventive maintenance and repairs
Conduct vehicle inspections and report safety issues to supervisor
Produce quality work/assignments in a thorough, timely, and accurate manner
Plan, prioritize, and organize assignments to meet established goals and deadlines
Mentor and model the Career Success Standards for students

The Brunswick Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and hands-on training in the following areas: Certified Nurse Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, Medical Administration Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Plumbing, Painting, Security and Protective Services, HVAC, Landscaping, Electrical, and Building Construction Technology.
