**Job Title: Maintenance Helper** **Job Description** As a Maintenance Helper, you will assist the maintenance mechanic in repairing, assembling, disassembling, and machining pumps, conveyors, and air pumps within an industrial manufacturing plant. You will also utilize hand and power tools and perform various miscellaneous tasks around the facility. This position provides an opportunity to be trained and developed into a full-fledged mechanic. **Responsibilities** + Assist maintenance mechanic with repairs and assembly of industrial equipment + Utilize hand and power tools for various tasks + Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks around the facility + Remove weeds, dispose of trash, sweep, and mop + Assist in all departments as needed + Help mechanics with changing motors + Undergo training to become a mechanic **Essential Skills** + Experience with hand and power tools + Mechanically inclined + Basic repair and mechanical skills + Ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks + Good communication and soft skills + Shop helper experience + Automotive experience + Preventive maintenance skills + Mechanical aptitude **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Comfortable with cleaning and assisting in various departments + Flexible and willing to learn **Why Work Here?** This is a long-term opportunity with plenty of hours, offering a chance for growth and development within the company.
