Job Summary

The Maintenance Helper assists with various maintenance job duties at CMI’s customer site in Menlo Park, CA.

Assist in a wide range of crafts and trades as assigned.Assist higher-graded employees in the operation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of mechanical and building systems.Assist with maintenance and repair of vacuum, oil, and water pumps; bearings, belts, temperature control valves; steam traps; and electrical systems.Assist with performing regular preventative maintenance activities including changing filters, lubrication, cleaning, inspection for wear, lamp replacement, and other related tasks.Assist with repair of equipment, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment.Performs other duties as assigned.

QualificationsHigh School DiplomaMust be willing to come in nights and weekends to make or assist in emergency repairs if needed
