With studio, one, two and three-bedroom condominiums plus luxury penthouses, Manor Vail Lodge is a full-service condominium property that features all the amenities of a full-service hotel, including two outdoor heated swimming pools, four hot tubs, spa, fitness center, The Fitz Bar and new restaurant, Ridge + River. Located steps from Vail Village, Golden Peak ski area, Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, and the Ford Amphitheater, Manor Vail Lodge is the complete package for Vail lodging. Overview Maintains and repairs physical structures of buildings and maintains grounds by performing the following duties. Maintains HVAC, Mechanical and IAQ systems in both residences and commercial areas. • Earns between $26-$28/hr • Benefits available: Health Care benefits (medical, dental, and vision), Retirement Benefits with a company match program, PTO benefits which include vacation, sick time, holidays, and CO leave/FMLA leave plans, Life Insurance, Accident and Critical Illness plans, Discount Room Nights at Benchmark properties and Parking. • We anticipate the position to be filled by 9/30/2024. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Receives written work orders or oral instructions from supervisor. Returns work orders with detail of project, materials used and date/time of completion. Paints interior and exterior walls and trim. Operates snow removal equipment to maintain parking lots and sidewalks. Assists other departments with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies. Maintains and repairs Boilers, chillers, HVAC, humidifiers, AC, air filtration and associated components. Work in a cooperative work environment, which focuses on trusting relationships, ethics, dignity, maximum productivity and team member morale. Qualifications • Someone with a experience working in a Maintenance role at a hotel or resort • Someone with knowledge of "household" repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.) • Someone with an engaging and welcoming personality • Someone with a strong attention to detail • Someone who can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment • Someone with a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests • Someone with excellent communication skills • Someone who is available to work various shifts to include weekends and holidays • Ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push/pull throughout duration of shift. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $26.00/Hr. - $28.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
