Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a (HVAC) Maintenance Technician Level 4 to support our Maintenance Team on site at our Clearfield, Utah location. 

Role Description & Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.

Job Duties:

Perform mechanical and or electrical troubleshooting on all equipment (Daily assignments will have emphasis on HVAC equipment)

Perform routine mechanical / electrical / electronic preventative maintenance on plant equipment, including our CNC and automated machines, Boilers, Autoclaves, HVAC systems, General lighting, Air compressors, Hydraulic systems, Overhead Cranes etc

Job activities align with that of a typical Millwright position

Other duties to support Maintenance Team as assigned

Shift as follows: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off (Example: Work Mon Tues, Off Wed Thu, Work Fri, Sat, Sun, etc.).

Hours: 6:00 am to 6:30 pm

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED with 6 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry as an Electrical / Mechanical Industrial Maintenance Technician or Millwright

Certificate of Training in a Journeyman level Automated Maintenance Technician Program (4 years working as a supporting tradesman may qualify in lieu of certificate)

Experience with HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning).

Experience with computer, math, analytical, and troubleshooting skills required

Active DoD Clearance prior to start.

Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

Licensed Journeyman or Master tradesman (plumber, pipefitter, millwright, etc.)

HVAC Certification (5 plus years of experience)

Ability and willingness to obtain DoD Clearance and Special Program Access (Highly Preferred)

Electrician: Must be proficient and knowledgeable in 3 phase and single-phase power distribution systems, motor controls, wiring and troubleshooting of such systems

Certifications or demonstrated competency repairing complex electro-mechanical systems

Certifications or demonstrated competency repairing automated motion control systems

Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement concepts.

Working knowledge of HVAC maintenance

Current active DOD secret security clearance

Salary Range: $70,400.00 - $117,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
