About the role

As a Maintenance Mechanic you will be responsible for the planned, unplanned, and preventative maintenance tasks required to ensure safe and efficient operational effectiveness of Reworld process equipment and systems.

Responsibilities:

Repair/maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment including inspection, assembly, disassembly, and replacement as necessaryClean, lubricate, and adjust machineryOperate hand and power toolsAbility to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair machine failuresFamiliarity with 480VAC 3-phase industrial electrical equipmentAbility to communicate with and direct contractorsAbility to interact and communicate with plant operations personnel to diagnose and correct machinery defectsUtilize Reworld’s computer maintenance software to document and track maintenance history of equipmentObserve and evaluate the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions utilizing test equipmentFamiliarity with instrumentation and controls is a plus

Position Requirements:

High school diploma/GED; technical degree preferredFive (5) years of relevant experience in the repair and maintenance of industrial plant equipmentAbility to provide leadership to the team for daily workMust be able to work overtime as needed, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with minimum noticeMay be required to work overtime hours during planned and un-planned maintenance outagesQualify to wear full-face respiratorAbility to pass safety courses as assigned

Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climbAbility to lift/carry 50lbsAbility to work from heights and in confined spacesAbility to work in hot and cold environments for extended periods
