Maintenance Laborer
**Job Title: Maintenance Laborer** **Job Description** As a part-time Maintenance Laborer, you will safely load, secure, and deliver medical equipment to customers in patient rooms and other hospital spaces. You will also retrieve equipment from deliveries and safely transport it accordingly. Additionally, you will educate and engage customers at the time of delivery, keeping them informed on the features and functionality of the equipment. Completing all paperwork and data entry accurately and in a timely manner to ensure accurate documentation for billing, inventory, and regulatory compliance is also a key part of this role. **Responsibilities** + Safely load, secure, and deliver medical equipment to customers in patient rooms and other hospital spaces. + Retrieve equipment from deliveries and safely transport it accordingly. + Educate and engage customers on the features and functionality of the equipment at the time of delivery. + Complete all paperwork and data entry accurately and in a timely manner for billing, inventory, and regulatory compliance. **Essential Skills** + Customer service experience + Proficiency in Microsoft Office + General labor skills + Driving experience + Excellent communication and computer skills + High school diploma or equivalent + Current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Prior work experience in a hospital setting is helpful + Administrative support skills + Experience in the healthcare industry + Dispatch customer service + Knowledge of medical supplies + Customer support experience + Administration and data entry skills + Documentation management + Ability to lift and/or push up to 75 pounds + Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time **Why Work Here?** This position offers the opportunity to transition to a full-time role in the future, with potential to become a full-time driver. Candidates can expect to drive to the warehouse each day, operate a company vehicle along a predetermined route, and return the vehicle to Andover at the end of the day.
