Join us as a Lead Industrial Maintenance Tech in our Dover, NH facility. 

You will be under the direction of the Manufacturing Engineering manager and will be the lead in the maintenance department. This position will be overseeing the departments day to day activities, coordinating workloads, and providing support to ensure completion of projects and efficient operation in achieving business targets.

The anticipated hourly pay range this role is: $35 to $38, DOE. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be determined by considering demonstrable level of experience, skills, knowledge, and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs. 11 paid holidays each year 2 weeks of paid vacation to start (accrued weekly) and prorated based on hire date. Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Up to 5% 401K match starting day one of employment. Tuition reimbursement to support your education goals.

More details about the opportunity:

Coordinate all maintenance purchasing activities and participate in the selection, procurement, and installation of new machinery and equipment while providing technical expertise and insights.  Prioritize and schedule Maintenance Connect work orders with team, as well as other maintenance tasks and projects. Repair and perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment.  Develop, implement, and continuously improve the preventive maintenance program to minimize equipment downtime, increase reliability, and extend the lifespan of machinery. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and address them promptly to prevent breakdowns and disruptions to production. Manage, maintain, and continually develop a spare parts inventory and storage system to ensure timely repairs and replacements, while also controlling inventory costs. Ensure compliance with all Pentair safety standards and regulations, promoting a culture of safety among the maintenance team and factory staff. Identify and action team training and coaching opportunities to build a strong well-rounded maintenance teem.Provide support, input, and action continuous improvement activities within the team and plant.  Lead team with continuous improvement mindset.Keep team updated and communicate with other departments to ensure an effective interface (especially machine repair status).  Attend MDI meetings as possible or send designee to help facilitate two-way communication.Lead team to embrace Win Right Values (Customer First, Accountability for Performance, Innovation and Adaptability, Positive Energy, Respect and Teamwork, Absolute Integrity).

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

5-7 years in Industrial Manufacturing Maintenance, with electrical / mechanical troubleshooting.Experience in a leadership capacity and the ability to be a critical thinkerSense of urgency and resourceful mindsetAble to communicate with all levels of organization.Experience with Maintenance Connect is desirable.

Position hours/shifts (Overtime Available!): 

1st shift: 7am to 3:30pm, but hours may vary depending on situations that may arise 

Physical Requirements: 

Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50lbs. Steel toed shoes are required on the manufacturing floor.
