**Job Title: Maintenance Lead** **Job Description** The HVAC/Maintenance Team Leader is responsible for monitoring equipment, overseeing repair tasks, and performing preventive maintenance to ensure ongoing equipment performance. You will oversee two other maintenance technicians to ensure maintenance tasks are completed, as well as perform your own maintenance tasks throughout the day. **1st shift:** 7a - 5p Monday - Friday Training schedule: 5a -5p Monday - Friday for first 3 days. Will be on call every 3rd weekend after 90 days. Guaranteed 4 hours of pay if called in **Pay Range:** $30-32/hr **Responsibilities** + Building and mechanical repairs & maintenance consistent with OSHA standards + Perform general and preventive maintenance of electrical systems + Repair small machinery, and assist with repairs of equipment + Maintain heating and plumbing systems + Inspect alarm systems and schedule needed repairs + Assist in setup of ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems + Liaison with third-party service providers as required + Supervise and direct the daily activities of maintenance personnel + Reassign resources to respond to changing priorities + Additional duties assigned by management **Essential Skills** + Industrial mechanical troubleshooting/repair + Building maintenance + Leadership ability + Electrical + HVAC + Plumbing **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Fluent in English (comfortable speaking, reading, writing, and understanding with ease) + Basic understanding of Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and Teams + Bilingual a plus + Must have reliable transportation + Detail oriented + Ability to troubleshoot problems in critical situations + Ability to work as a team with other members of the Maintenance team + High school diploma or GED + Must have HVAC experience, minimum 3 years + EPA Universal Certification highly preferred (not a deal breaker if candidate meets other requirements) + Freon certification preferred + Experience in Maintenance or related field with at least 3 years of experience **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $66560.00 Hendrix Genetics provides full medical, dental and vision health benefits. Deductible as low as $500. They also offer a 401k plan. They have 6 paid holidays per year, 16 hours of floating holiday, and will pay double time for holidays worked. 40 hours of PTO after 6 months, additional 40 hours of PTO after 1 year.
