Hiring hourly range: $37 - $40 (hourly/salary rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data).

The work schedule for this role is Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, however, various hours may be required based on business demand.
As a Mechanical Maintenance Lead , you will be responsible for daily support activities, including:
+ Leading a team of skilled technicians that support the monthly workload to ensure satisfactory completion of assignments in support of established company goals.
+ Working lead is required to perform maintenance activities at the site
+ Maintain predictive and proactive maintenance programs to ensure uptime and site reliability.
+ Lead and escalate predictive maintenance findings to ensure equipment reliability and downtime avoidance.
+ Perform routine walk downs of job activities to ensure all safety protocols are being met
+ Maintaining and understanding the partnership between client and owner and keeping a positive client relationship will enhance future business.
+ Delegating and obtaining accountability and results from employees and ensure specific career goals are set and necessary disciplinary actions are taken.
+ Providing support to building operations and maintenance teams to sustain low operating cost.
+ Plan and supervise daily building or mechanical systems maintenance operations.
+ Lead maintenance staff, assist in interviewing and hiring; train new employees; plan and issue daily work assignments; monitor work in progress and check completed work; assist with difficult or unusual tasks.
+ Lead, and assist with all regular and special functions, activities, and projects of the maintenance team, including ongoing preventive and predictive maintenance tasks, major and minor repairs.
+ Supporting maintenance of operations for critical building mechanical support systems.
+ Implementing and supporting programs for preventative and predictive maintenance activities.
+ Understanding equipment issues and designating appropriate skilled trade to repair or diagnose to repair.
+ Lead maintenance planning and scheduling.
+ Exhibiting strong customer relations and client partnering mentality.
+ Managing consistent daily communication with customer and contract Program Manager, with an action plan on resolutions.
+ Managing key performance indicators (KPI’s).
+ Projecting continuous improvement in support of budgetary initiatives.
+ Tracking and mitigating potential compliance issues.
+ Providing safety leadership in support of an accident-free workplace through planning tools and use of JHA’s, THA’s, LOTO, hot work, and other established safety programs.
+ Demonstrating strong interpersonal skills such as team building, anticipation of operational needs, delegating effectively, and implementing company and client policies.
+ Administering Performance Management, including annual goal setting.
+ Implementing timely disciplinary action when needed.
+ Providing mentoring and training to team members.
As the Mechanical Maintenance Lead you will be expected to:

**Communication**
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint
+ Ability to communicate clearly via phone
+ Ability to work closely with customer during site emergencies.
+ Excellent oral and written communications
+ Excellent interpersonal skills, i.e., listening to customer needs, articulating path forward and giving solutions that provide value to the customer, etc.
+ Accurately document electronic and paper cataloging system to provide information to customer or regulatory personnel.
+ Strive for quick complaint resolution; to resolve problems on the first call and avoid escalation of issues through operational knowledge.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
+ 5 years of facility operations and maintenance
+ Technical knowledge of industrial electrical and mechanical systems with the ability to prioritize, assign, track, and trend equipment history.
+ Working knowledge of purchasing and/or utilizing and managing subcontracts or vendors.
+ Staff management experience, including disciplinary action, hiring, terminating, and performance appraisals.
+ Ability to pass a medical evaluation for respirator use and be able to successfully complete a fit test for several types of respirators.
+ Ability to obtain a security access badge at our client’s location.
+ Ability to read and understand information contained in a variety of documents or displayed on a computer screen. Demonstrated fluency in computer use including the full Microsoft product line.
+ Ability to obtain an appropriate driver's license issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles, as requested.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
+ This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.
**Some physical/special requirements include:**
+ Regularly lift to 50 lbs.
+ Regularly climb ladders, steps, and scaffolding
+ Repetitive motions: bend, stoop, squat, kneel, stretch, reach, wrist movement.
+ Walk extensively throughout the plant during shift.
+ Work at an accelerated pace in emergency conditions
+ Ability to differentiate colors pertaining to wire color-coding.
+ Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed.
+ Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment.
**Preferred Requirements**
+ Technical degree preferred.
+ Experience working in a GMP or similar regulated environment such as hospitals, biomedical or pharmaceutical campuses.
+ In addition to education/experience, 5 years of progressive career experience in industrial, pharmaceutical, biomedical, or research & development facility maintenance.
+ Ability to read and understand repair manuals, specifications, drawings, and schematic diagrams.
+ Experience working with heavy industrial or manufacturing plant steam systems, centrifugal chillers, air handling units, turbines, boilers, cooling towers, air compressors, air dryers, heat exchangers, exhaust systems, pneumatic controls, and building automation control systems.
+ Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS); EAMS experience is a plus.
+ Experience with developing, managing, and presenting KPI'S.
+ Experience interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
