Job Description
The Maintenance team supports material handling, mobile equipment, HVAC, and building maintenance across more than three million square feet of distribution space in Central Ohio. We utilize sophisticated material handling conveyors and state-of-the-art sortation systems, continuously evaluating and upgrading them to maintain productivity and competitiveness. ResponsibilitiesLead projects to implement new or modify existing DC material handling automation systems to support business needs, focusing on the software controlling these systems.Provide expert technical support on the software for DC material handling systems, assisting distribution center users and the PLC controls team during troubleshooting or breakdowns.Maintain and administer the software on existing distribution center automation systems, developing and executing test plans for new software applications or modifications.Ensure optimal system performance and uptime during critical business periods.Manage vendors to ensure adherence to schedules, costs, and deliverables.Collaborate with the Facilities Services Team to deliver and maintain optimal working solutions for the user community.Work daily with users to understand their specific requirements, issues, and the performance of systems in the field.Essential SkillsStrong PLC troubleshooting experience with Siemens, Step 7, AB/Rockwell.Experience with motors, drives, and starters.PLC editing experience.Experience working with automation control systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Siemens or Rockwell PLCs.Experience working within distribution centers, including advanced material handling systems, high-speed sortation, and AS/RS.2-year degree in computer science, industrial and systems engineering, electromechanical, or a related engineering field.Experience with WMS, electrical systems, editing, material-handling equipment, PLC control, and automation systems.BS in computer science, industrial and systems engineering, or a related engineering field.Three years of experience with real-time automation control system applications.Experience supporting advanced material handling systems, such as high-speed sortation and AS/RS.Experience administering Windows Server and MS SQL-based systems.Experience writing SQL queries and reports.Experience with Iconics visualization SCADA systems.Working knowledge of various PLC platforms, including AB/Rockwell, Siemens, and Step 7.Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $68000.00 - $84000.00/yr.
