Hours: Sat/Sun/Mon 6:00 a.m. – 6:30 pm or upon completion of assigned work
Pay Range: $21.20 - $30.30 (BOE) + $2.00 Lead premium + $2 attendance bonus + $2.00 Shift Differential
SUMMARY: The 4th Shift Maintenance Leader will ensure that all 4th Shift assigned PMs and Work Orders are completed in a timely fashion and will report to the Maintenance Manager and Shift Supervisors via a daily pass down. The Leader will assist with departmental training and coaching of team members, perform daily inspections and audits, and insure the 4th Shift Maintenance team members are performing in accordance to the departmental SOP’s while maintaining company policies and values of safety, quality and efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:
Ensure all work orders assigned to the shift are assigned correctly and completed on time while tracking and assessing individual team member workloadTrain all 4th Shift team members on the PM Program, Work Orders and Standard Operating ProceduresCommunicate expectations for the 4th Shift Maintenance team members in regards to team work, attitude and work performance while continually assessing individual performanceVerify the Pre-Operational status of all equipmentMaintain and update Lock Out Tag Out programCoordinate with Departmental Supervisors and Manager to plan all details for installations, rebuilds, and upgradesEnsure all GMP’s, HAACP, PSM Program, Company Policies and Safety Programs are followed at all timesContinually audit and validate all departmental procedures revising when necessaryEffectively cooperate and communicate with other department’s Leaders and ManagersObtain excellent working knowledge of all equipment and their components throughout the facility as well as all utility systems. Monitor and maintain ammonia refrigeration equipment in accordance with process safety managementComplete and maintain all required reportsOther duties as required.QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven leadership abilitiesStrong mechanical background requiredAbility to use hand tools and trades type toolsComputer skills, MS Word, Excel Database, and e-mailTrained in the Maintenance of CMMSExcellent attention to detail, time management and organization skillsHighly motivated self-starter who is willing to implement new processes and ideasWillingness to work overtime as requiredAbility to be on your feet throughout the majority of the shiftAble to identify industry standard parts and assist in procuring parts as neededAbility to operate equipment safely and effectivelyPhysical Requirements / Environment:
Stand/Walk: Continuously (at least 8 hours a day)Lift/Carry: Frequently (1-10 lbs.), occasionally (up to 35-50 lbs.)Grasp: Frequently (3-4 hours a day)Occasionally (1-3 hours a day); bend/stoop, squat, crawl, climb, reach above shoulder, crouch, kneel, push/pullContinuously working around moving machinery, both inside and out with changes in temperature and humidity, exposure to dust and fumes, occasionally working on a ladder at unprotected heights, around and amongst food productPhysical Environment: Continuously - Working around moving machinery, working in a cold environment (28-34 degreesF).Requirement: Must have a minimum of 1 year of facility, maintenance and/or automotive mechanic work experience documented in the work history section of the application or a graduate of an Industrial Maintenance training program.
