Maintenance Lead Technician
We are seeking a direct-hire **Maintenance Lead Technician** for a manufacturing company near **Robinson Township, PA** . **SUMMARY:** The Maintenance Lead Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing complex manufacturing equipment, ensuring efficient and safe production. This includes working with minimal supervision to keep equipment in top condition, adhering to industry standards and regulations. The role also involves collaborating with teams using lean and autonomous maintenance methods. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Diagnose, troubleshoot, modify, repair, overhaul, and dismantle complex manufacturing equipment, with a focus on control systems, servo drives, motors, HMIs, and PLCs, especially on high-speed packaging lines. + Train production teams on preventive maintenance and proactive equipment monitoring. + Coordinate maintenance activities with technicians, production staff, engineering, and management. + Work with equipment vendors for technical support. + Plan and organize work activities, utilizing predictive maintenance techniques. + Lead multi-functional teams to solve problems and implement continuous improvements using lean methodologies. + Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas. + Train and mentor other technicians. + Perform other duties as assigned by management. **QUALIFICATIONS:** + Associate’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent experience. + 5 years of experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems (experience with Allen-Bradley, Automation Direct, Siemens, and Rockwell FactoryTalk software preferred). + Experience with servo drives and variable speed programming (Allen-Bradley preferred). + Proficient in industrial networks and controls systems. + Ability to read and interpret complex technical documents, schematics, and manuals. + Strong time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. + Excellent communication and teamwork skills. + Ability to work independently and train others. + Able to work on ladders and lifts, up to 40 feet in height. + Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally. **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:** + Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally. + Ability to work in confined spaces and on ladders. + Ability to stand for extended periods and work with cleaning chemicals. + Flexibility to work a second shift (3:15 PM - 1:15 AM, Mon-Thurs), with occasional overtime on Fridays.
