Toolmaker

2nd shift: 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm

 

This position works under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor. Areas of responsibility are reviewed daily, and direction is given daily. The main responsibility of the job is to maintain machinery in good operating condition for the primary purpose of maintaining efficient, continual production of quality tools.

 

Duties:

Follow all safety guidelines established by the company

Clean and maintain Tool Room equipment

Evaluate, maintain and repair a wide variety of machines and parts

Inspect, adjust, replace and make precision parts

Perform major rebuilds

Setup and operate machines

Make new spare parts

Train others in all aspects of the job including diagnosis and troubleshooting

Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

Desire and ability to work 100% Safe

Three to five years experience in Industrial Maintenance

Mechanical aptitude

Ability to perform complex work with high accuracy and quality

Preference for certification in Toolmaking, Industrial Maintenance or similar field
