**Lead Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description:**
+ We are looking for a dedicated Food Manufacturing Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance operations of our facility. In this role, you will lead a team of technicians to ensure our equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians.
+ Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of food manufacturing machinery and equipment.
+ Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
+ Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
+ Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance.
+ Maintain detailed maintenance records and documentation.
+ Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
+ Train and mentor junior technicians.
**Essential Skills:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
+ Extensive experience in maintenance within a food manufacturing environment.
+ Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
+ Deep knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
+ Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment promptly.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Organizational and communication skills.

+ Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues with equipment and systems.
+ Preventive Maintenance: Regularly inspecting and servicing equipment to prevent failures.
+ PLC Programming: Creating and modifying programs to control machinery operations.
+ Industrial Maintenance: Knowledge of maintaining and repairing industrial machinery.
+ Hand Tools: Proficiency in using various hand tools for repairs and maintenance.
+ Production Equipment: Familiarity with the machinery used in food manufacturing.
+ Electrical Systems: Understanding and maintaining electrical components and systems.
+ HVAC Systems: Knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
+ Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems: Maintaining and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
+ Equipment Calibration: Ensuring machinery operates accurately and efficiently.
+ Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze issues and find effective solutions.
+ Communication: Clearly conveying information to team members and non-technical colleagues.
+ Teamwork: Collaborating effectively with others on projects.
+ Time Management: Efficiently managing tasks and schedules.
+ Adaptability: Being flexible and adjusting to changing conditions.

**Work Environment:**
+ The work environment is a food processing plant with extreme high and low temperatures, adhering to GMP standards.
+ The facility processes ripe fruits which are frozen and packaged for retail and wholesale use.
**Job Type & Location:**
+ This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, Washington.
