This is a full-time, hourly position. 

GENERAL REQUIREMENTSWork cooperatively in a team environment and accept and follow directions.Follow time and attendance guidelines in accordance with the employee handbook.Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.Experienced in operating a variety of equipment and toolsAble to work well with minimal supervisionAbility to prioritize tasks and follow specified proceduresAble to stand for long periods and climb stairs regularly throughout shift.Physically capable of lifting 75 pounds unassistedAbility to regularly lift and / or carry up to 55 pounds individually or up to 100 pounds with assistance.Ability to squat and bend frequently while lifting up to 55 pounds during shift.Tolerant of seasonally very warm temperatures.Basic computer knowledge and skills.   QUALITY CONTROL REQUIREMENTSKnowledge of and ability to follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).Complete understanding of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and its importance.Follow and monitor to assure all Safe Quality Food (SQF) guidelines are implemented and followed.Report any suspicious activity related to food defense.
NOTE: Required to report food safety problems or concerns immediately to a person with authority to initiate action as indicated on the organizational chart.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTSBe aware of and follow up to date OSHA regulations that apply to the tasks in your job.Practice safe lifting techniques, bending and lifting with your legs not your back.Pivot with your feet avoiding twisting at the waist.Be aware of your surroundings, watching for forklift traffic and trip hazards such as pallets or cords.Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the job you are doing.Maintain proper guards and safety devices when working with machinery and on catwalks.Never operate equipment for which you have not been properly trained or certified for.
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONSHigh school diploma/GED requiredElectromechanical Degree preferredMEMBER OF FOLLOWING TEAMSMaintenanceJOB RESPONSIBILITIESComplete tasks assigned by the Maintenance Manager.Assist in equipment set-up and reassembly.Complete work order and preventive maintenance reports.  Ensure all work is properly documented.Respond quickly in the event of an emergency.  Notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol.Support production and clean-up with breakdowns or repairs.Perform machine set ups for the next incoming shift.Perform other tasks as assigned by management.Respond to reports of suspicious activity related to food defense.ADM requires the successful completion of a pre-employment background check.​
