Maintenance Lubrication Technician

Qualified candidates starting at $29.01/hr with opportunity to progress

 

 

Armstrong World Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Lubrication Technician to support manufacturing operations at our plant in Marietta, PA. The plant manufactures mineral fiber ceiling tiles in a 24/7 fast paced environment. The position is responsible for executing lubrication routes and oil sampling for analysis programs, as well as maintaining lubrication systems and areas.  You will work with operators, mechanics, electricians and engineers; create work orders for preventive maintenance (PM) findings, oil analysis findings, unplanned planned, or emergency work;  ensure machine labels and lubrication tags are accurate;  recommend and maintain proper lubrication inventory and storage in maintenance lube room;  coordinate preventive maintenance (PM), oil sampling, and corrective tasks as needed; and ensure lubrication is applied correctly to prevent equipment damage or failures.

 

Skills Required

Relevant mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing/plant environment;

Basic understanding of industrial lubricants;

Lubrication system experience in a manufacturing environment with rotating equipment

Ability to be self-directed and work with limited supervision;

Basic Maintenance troubleshooting and repair experience
