SUMMARY: Join our dynamic team as the Maintenance Leader at Bayport Door Plant! Lead the Maintenance Team to enable Bayport Door Plant to operate at its true potential. Develop and execute a comprehensive equipment reliability strategy that maximizes team and plant performance across SQDC&E. You'll oversee a diverse team of electrical and mechanical technicians, specialized trades, planners, buyers, and reliability engineering technicians. Foster a proactive maintenance culture with a focus on preventive and predictive activities to boost equipment reliability and capability. Drive strategic initiatives and problem-solving efforts to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and value. Be a key player in the Operations Tier Management System, ensuring effective maintenance scheduling and execution. Establish a collaborative work environment that promotes trust, respect, and continuous personal development.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES -
Lead the Bayport maintenance team, consisting of electrical and mechanical technicians, specialized trades, planners, buyers and reliability engineering techniciansLead a proactive maintenance culture focused on planned preventive and predictive activities that increase equipment reliability and capability. Develop strategic tools (Objective and Key Results) that identify and implement maintenance initiatives, problem solving efforts and projects that drive safety, customer quality, on-time delivery and value.Actively manage, implement, monitor and/or contribute toward programs intended to increase the uptime of assets. Examples include preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, reliability-centered maintenance and Total Productive Maintenance.An active and participating member of the Operations Tier Management System, ensuring adequate maintenance representation and the required maintenance time is scheduled to ensure planned and preventive maintenance activities can be adequately performed.Manage/Lead the maintenance organization and the Door Plant Leadership team in implementing a Total Productive Maintenance System.Establish a work environment characterized by mutual trust and respect, open and honest communication and a culture of personal development, coaching and teamworkDevelop/institute Maintenance best practices with clearly defined KPI’s and metrics that have the result of driving operational performance.Develop and maintain the budget for the maintenance organizationIdentify and implement training programs to develop the skills of maintenance technicians to continue to meet the needs of the changing businessEnsure compliance to regulatory codes and statutesQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
BS degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. Applicants not meeting this attribute must show prior experience sufficient to demonstrate equivalent capabilities.5 to 7 years manufacturing experience, minimum 2 years in technical or operational management positionsStrong technical aptitude and a passionate desire to optimize and improve.Proven and resilient leader with a demonstrated ability to lead and drive impactful changePossess a high degree of training and coaching skills, as well as excellent leadership and motivational skillsStrong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $121,804 - $188,796 annually.
