**Join Our Team as a Maintenance Manager!**
**Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday - Friday)**
**Pay $100,000-$130,000 DOE**
**This is a Permanent position based out of Healdsburg, California.**
Are you ready to lead a dynamic team in the heart of California's wine country? We're looking for a Maintenance Manager to oversee our shop staff, ensure the smooth operation of all winery equipment, and collaborate with other managers to keep our winery and bottling line running like clockwork. This role is all about preventative maintenance leadership and requires travel to various company locations, with Healdsburg as your primary base.
**Responsibilities:**
+ **Team Leadership:** Manage the daily workflow of the Maintenance team, including schedules, breaks, and attendance.
+ **Labor Planning:** Assist with planning and managing labor needs for the maintenance department.
+ **Personnel Management:** Handle hiring, training, development, evaluations, and discipline within the Maintenance Department.
+ **Team Building:** Develop a cohesive team through strong interpersonal skills and lead by example.
+ **Training & Compliance:** Ensure the team is trained and adheres to all policies, procedures, and governmental regulations.
+ **Shift Management:** Ensure smooth and effective shift turnovers.
+ **Mentorship:** Facilitate the development of an empowered work team and mentor team members.
+ **Safety Culture:** Promote a safety culture of accountability and engagement.
+ **Hands-On Maintenance:** Apply a hands-on approach to daily maintenance tasks.
+ **Skilled Mechanic Duties:** Perform skilled mechanic duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and modify mechanical equipment and facilities.
+ **Work Order Management:** Manage work orders through the work order system.
+ **Equipment Installation:** Supervise the installation of new equipment.
+ **Vendor Interaction:** Interact with vendors and assist in ordering parts to support maintenance work orders.
+ **Preventative Maintenance:** Create and adhere to a PM schedule for all line equipment.
+ **Facility Maintenance:** Oversee maintenance of production equipment, buildings, utilities, forklifts, vehicles, and refrigeration equipment.
+ **Project Planning:** Plan jobs, projects, and equipment for repair and maintenance.
+ **Collaboration:** Collaborate with other department leaders to solve problems.
+ **Presentation Skills:** Effectively present topics to direct reports, peers, or upper management.
+ **Budget Management:** Adhere to and provide input on the department budget.
+ **Cost-Effective Systems:** Implement and monitor systems and programs in a cost-effective manner.
+ **Invoice Coding:** Code invoices for timely payment.
+ **GMP Compliance:** Ensure compliance with GMP procedures.
+ **Effective Communication:** Communicate effectively through email, phone, or face-to-face.
+ **Safety Programs:** Ensure adherence to all Safety Programs.
+ **Special Projects:** Complete special projects as directed.
+ **Other Tasks:** Perform other tasks as assigned by Management.
**Essential Skills:**
+ 5+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
+ 3+ years of supervisory experience.
+ Experience with electrical systems and glycol systems.
+ 3+ years of maintenance management on bottling or automated processing lines.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude.
+ Valid California driver's license and a clean DMV record.
+ Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
+ Strong problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
+ Proactive in problem-solving.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel).
+ Ability to write reports.
+ Knowledge of OSHA, state, and federal safety regulations.
+ Skilled knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tools, procedures, and safety.
+ Ability to maintain moderate to physical work in a variety of environments.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**
+ Technical or College degree preferred.
+ Experience in the winemaking industry preferred.
