Maintenance Manager

ACET is seeking a Maintenance Manager in our Patuxent River, MD location.  

 

Responsibilities: 

Provide daily oversight of all functional and operational activities of aircraft and assists the Site Manager with daily operations to meet contract requirements.supporting Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and Integrated Test Teams (ITT).Administer the operations of the maintenance department per the DCMAINST 8210.1 and CNAFINST 4790.2 seriesEnsure full and effective employment of assigned personnel.Manage, control, and execute activities to ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations.Provide management with data necessary to make qualitative decisions about aircraft, equipment, support equipment, material condition, readiness, utilization, maintenance workload, and projected upcoming events.Provide daily oversight of all functional and operational activities of aircraft and assists the Site Manager with daily operations to meet contract requirements.

 

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical/business discipline or six years additional experience.At least ten (10) year's with five (5) years' management experience in direct aircraft maintenance repair, inspection, and modification efforts.Must have been a Maintenance Controller for minimum of two (2) years with previous documented "Safe for Flight" authority.Must have completed the Naval Aviation Maintenance Control Management for Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activities (OOMA) course (C-555-0053) or both the Naval Aviation Maintenance Control Management course (D or E-555-0040) and the Naval Aviation Officer and Senior Supervisor NALCOMIS OOMA Familiarization course (D or E-555-0054).Secret clearance required.
