Volt is immediately hiring a Maintenance Manager in Cedarburg, WI.

\r\n\r\n

As a Maintenance Manager, you will collaborate with the plant engineer in utilizing equipment to improve employee safety, production quality, equipment reliability and overall equipment effectiveness utilizing Continuous Improvement techniques and a Management Operating Structure (MOS). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tUtilize mechanical and electrical expertise to maintain production systems, utilities, buildings, and grounds.\r\n\tManage employees directly or through supervisors to ensure effective selection, retention, development, disciplinary action, and performance management. (If a collective bargaining agreement exists, may participate in negotiations, grievances or other contract related activities and discussions).\r\n\tHVAC, Electrical (motor control circuitry up to 480V 3-phrase), Boilers, etc. experience\r\n\tAdminister the maintenance and capital projects for the site.\r\n\tUtilize the CMMS to optimize asset utilization through scheduled preventative maintenance.\r\n\tImplement corrective actions identified by key maintenance performance indicators to create overall equipment effectiveness.\r\n\tStay informed with the latest and emerging industry regulations and codes relative to mechanical and electrical systems design and operation.\r\n\tEnsure corporate policies and standards are followed in both capital project implementation as well as daily maintenance.\r\n\tAdhere to Company policies, OSHA regulations and applicable laws.\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity.

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tHigh school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate degree or some college is preferred. \r\n\tA minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance supervision in a food manufacturing environment is required.\r\n\tWorking knowledge/exposure to food manufacturing equipment i.e., filling machines, blow mold machines, air compressors, conveyors\r\n\tPLC experience (Allen Bradley platform) is strongly desired, programming a plus\r\n\tWorking knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems desired\r\n\tWorking knowledge of fabrication, welding and machining methods a plus\r\n\tA minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience with maintenance technicians required.\r\n\tExperience with CMMS required; MVP JDE experience a plus\r\n\tFamiliarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Union, Safety and Workers Compensation experience preferred.\r\n\tExperience leading and following Safety/Security Policies and Procedures.\r\n\tAbility to follow all Sanitation and Quality policies and procedures, and report and follow through on any deficiencies.\r\n\tAbility to follow Continuous Improvement (CI) Processes in the Management Operating Structure (MOS).\r\n\tProficient in MS Office Suite and other computer-based applications.\r\n\tAbility to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs; with the ability to lead others through change\r\n\r\n\r\n

Salary Range: $115,000 – 135,000 per year

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
