Maintenance Manager
Salary Range: $84,600 – 127,000 Annually JOB SUMMARY As the Maintenance Manager, you will improve asset utilization, uptime, and production throughput of brewing equipment by implementing proven reliability improvement processes and sound work management practices. This role manages plumbing and iron workers trades to ensures responsive and proactive maintenance support to entire facility. You are responsible to seek methods to reduce utilities consumption, protect the environment, reduce waste and foster a safe work environment. STATUS: Full Time LOCATION: Rochester, NY DEPARTMENT: Maintenance JOB TYPE: Exempt ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES + Create a roadmap for proactive maintenance and upgrades to our brewery that will maximize productivity, avoid/minimize downtime and prolong the life of installed assets. + Ensure safety, maintenance and repair work are performed efficiently through organized planning, optimized material support and coordinated work execution. + Ensure the brewery receives prompt, efficient and quality service from the maintenance function and ensures the maintenance function is given the opportunity to provide this service. + Utilize data to analyze equipment failure modes, mean time between failure (MBF), etc. and suggests/implements improvement processes to reduce or eliminate equipment/process failures (I.E.:PM inspection improvements, predictive maintenance techniques, maintenance employee training, etc.). + Help drive a mindset and skills around preventative and proactive maintenance; shifting work responsibilities as appropriate. + Provide meaningful management reports to enhance control of maintenance operations. + Create and adhere to a work order scheduling process. + Continually reduce equipment downtime and increase availability through the establishment of a preventive/predictive maintenance program (including failure analysis) designed, directed, monitored and continually improved. + Work with state and local officials and agencies to support the brewery and regulations. + Keep fellow co-workers properly informed on all abnormal or critical situations. + Support TPM + Design, budget and Implement capital projects. EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE + Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience. + Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Mechanical Engineering/Maintenance position. + Minimum of 2 years managerial experience. + Familiarity with the beer or beverage production processes. In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $84,600 – 127,000 not including benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at FIFCO USA, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to enable future & continued salary growth.
