What You'll Do Strong scheduling, planning, organizing, problem solving, time managing, and prioritizing work skills Plan, direct and coordinate activities of Supplier Performance Team and assist team as needed. Oversee staff training & development. Excellent customer service including follow through, Time management, Planning/organization and prioritizing Capable of managing multiple project designs, scopes, budgets, and installations Prepare accurate cost estimates, resulting in projects that operate on the budget established in the estimate Drive continuous improvement; employee productivity, uptime improvements, lead time reductions Keep maintenance abreast of shop equipment deficiencies and breakage Troubleshoot production problems to minimize downtime Develop and deliver performance reviews and corrective action documentation Facilitate the compensation planning, performance assessment and employee development planning processes Procure supplies and spare parts to ensure effective and timely maintenance of equipment Leads meetings with team members discussing variety of topics Reviews safety requirements and points out potential hazards that may exist Reviews planned job packages for completeness and correctness Assures accurate distribution of time and materials to specific jobs together with good feedback including proper work order entries Assures that any necessary corrective work orders stemming from inspections and other sources have been initiated Displays a positive, can-do attitude; maintains composure when faced with difficult situations What You'll Need Thorough understanding of maintenance principles, technologies, machinery. Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic and mechanical schematics Strong computer skills required (good knowledge of Outlook, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Minimum 5 years successful operational leadership experience preferred Minimum 1 year supervisory experience required; 3 or more years, preferred Mentor and train team members on proper equipment use Ability to work with the other Managers as a part of the Management Team Ability to work flexible hours and be available as needed by the business CMMS experience - SAP a plus Able to estimate labor hours, materials and can visualize the job to be performed Strong communication Skills (verbal, written, listening) including ability to communicate effectively with all levels or organization Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced environment, with strong work ethic, pay attention to detail and find root causes for issues Experience with Preventative/Planned Maintenance processes and procedures and ability to develop procedures and schedules preferred Excellent communication skills with multifunctional teams in both commercial and operational areas Your Education High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required Minimum 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience required OR a 2-year degree in related technical discipline requiredWe are Commercial Metals Company, a Fortune 500 company with a family feel that’s already part of your life.
