**Job Title: Maintenance Manager**
**Job Description**
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing a team of 10-15 preventative maintenance and maintenance technicians in a fast-paced packaging company. This role involves managing schedules, tracking projects, speaking with vendors, and having high-level visibility to the owners. Weekly staff meetings with the production, engineering, quality, and HR departments are required.
**Responsibilities**
+ Manage a team of 10-15 preventative maintenance and maintenance technicians.
+ Coordinate and manage schedules for maintenance activities.
+ Track and oversee maintenance projects to ensure timely completion.
+ Communicate with vendors to procure necessary materials and services.
+ Participate in weekly staff meetings with various departments including production, engineering, quality, and HR.
+ Ensure safety protocols are followed by the maintenance team.
+ Provide high-level visibility to the company's owners.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2-3+ years of maintenance supervisory/management experience.
+ Experience in maintenance management in a packaging, extrusion, food, or beverage environment.
+ Strong knowledge in mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, troubleshooting, and electrical systems.
+ Ability to supervise and lead a team.
+ Proficiency in preventive maintenance procedures.

**Work Environment**
The maintenance department consists of 10-15 technicians. The role requires wearing closed-toe shoes, hair nets, beard nets, goggles, and ear plugs. Be prepared to work as early as 5 am and as late as 7 pm or 8 pm if needed, and be on call. The position demands extreme responsibility and ownership, with a production team of over 200. The standard working days are Monday to Friday, with frequent Saturdays.
