Maintenance Manager Details:
Direct Hire position$130,000.00 /annuallyFirst Shift (Monday through Friday)• The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the planning and coordination of all maintenance activities in the facility including the development and implementation of maintenance programs and procedures, managing department expenses, tracking progress, reporting to senior leadership.
• Manage a team of Maintenance Electricians. Maintenance Mechanics, Electricians, Maintenance Supervisor, Chief Engineer and Tool Crib Attendant.
• Plans and lays out maintenance work projects; monitors and controls supplies and equipment; orders supplies and tools as necessary; prepares documents for equipment procurement; participates in the bid process for maintenance and repair projects.
• Determines and recommends equipment, materials, and staffing needs for assigned operations, projects, and programs; participates in the annual budget preparation; prepares detailed cost estimates; maintains all maintenance records and prepares routine reports of work performance
• Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for execution of maintenance work.
• Ensure operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems through timely inspection, repair and Preventative Maintenance.
• Inspects work in progress and completed work of assigned employees and contractors for accuracy, proper work methods and techniques, and compliance with applicable standards and specifications
• Troubleshoots complex operational and maintenance problems; corrects or directs the correction and repair of operational and/or equipment problems.
• Supervises installation of new equipment as required, with regards to electrical wiring, fixtures, and junction boxes, etc.
Maintenance Manager Qualifications:
• BS in Electrical Engineering preferred and 10+ years verifiable experience in supervising and managing an electrical and maintenance team in a heavy industrial environment preferred
• Ability to read analyze, and interpret technical manuals, schematics, wireways, and conduit
• Strong mathematical skills, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances are utilized frequently.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Alan Bradley PLC Certification preferred
• Working Knowledge of Motor controls, 3- phase motors, Wire sizing and termination, Electronic Assembly processes
• Bi-lingual in Spanish Required
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and MS Project or other project management/tracking system.
