Maintenance Manager

_Adecco is assisting a local customer in hiring a skilled Maintenance Manager to join their team in South Windsor, CT, to oversee the maintenance operations of the facility. This is a 1st shift opportunity from Monday to Friday._
_The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring all equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards, and minimizing downtime through preventive maintenance and effective repairs. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and productivity of our operations._
_Key Responsibilities:_
_Leadership: Oversee and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance._
_Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement maintenance schedules, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities._
_Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex maintenance issues efficiently to minimize production interruptions._
_Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards._
_Budget Management: Manage maintenance budgets, monitor costs, and ensure cost-effective use of resources._
_Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment conditions, and team performance. Provide regular reports to management._
_Improvement Projects: Lead or participate in projects at improving maintenance practices, equipment efficiency, and facility upgrades._
_Safety: Promote and enforce safety protocols within the maintenance department, ensuring a safe working environment._
_Qualifications:_
_Hazardous Waste management, required._
_Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a maintenance or supervisory role in a manufacturing or similar industrial setting._
_Education: Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience._
_Certifications: Certification in relevant maintenance practices or equipment (e.g., HVAC, electrical, mechanical) is a plus._
_Skills: Strong leadership abilities, mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills._
_Knowledge: Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) or similar software is beneficial._
**Pay Details:** $50,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
