**Job Title: Maintenance Manager | 1st shift | Canton | $60-$85k** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee a team of 14 technicians in a heavy industrial setting. This role is primarily focused on managing maintenance operations but also involves hands-on work with various types of machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in both mechanical and electrical maintenance, as well as experience in leadership and team management. **Responsibilities** + Manage and oversee a team of 14 technicians. + Allocate 90% of the time to managing and 10% to hands-on maintenance. + Perform maintenance on foundry equipment, conveyors, gears, bearings, robotic arms, rollers, furnaces, mobile equipment, and more. + Assist with special installations and projects. + Help schedule and plan maintenance activities. + Train new hires. + Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues in the plant, including control boxes/panels and machine controls. + Handle disciplinary actions within the team. **Essential Skills** + Previous mechanical and electrical maintenance experience. + Experience managing maintenance technicians, ideally a team of over 5. + Proficiency with ERP and scheduling/planning systems. + Ability to read schematics and blueprints, and measure accurately with a tape measure. + Experience with hydraulics. + Experience with motors or panels. + Welding skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in a foundry or heavy industrial environment. + Knowledge of PLC, wiring, hydraulics, pneumatics, troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical repair, preventative maintenance, and installation. + Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Six Sigma, work orders, SAP, and ERP systems. **Why Work Here?** Our company values work-life balance and provides opportunities for professional growth. **Work Environment** This position is based in a dark, non-climate controlled foundry environment with manual machinery. The work setting can be dirty, hot, or cold in different areas. You will be required to work near molten material once trained.
