Job Description

Oversee all Maintenance Operations and provide maintenance leadership to support all production and facilities operations. The maintenance department must focus on improving equipment uptime, productivity of equipment, quality of the material produced, and the profitability of the facility while maintaining a safe working environment.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain a safe work environment for all plant employees.Ensure that the Maintenance department employees are trained to do their respective jobs.Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for the execution of maintenance work and PMs if needed.Ensure operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems through timely inspection and repair, assigning the appropriate team member and being supported by the operations team.Ensure that company premises and facilities are kept in clean and hygienic condition.Ensure that the company’s policies are followed.Establish goals and objectives for the department that are in line with Operations’ strategy, including safety, productivity, and quality.Responsible for Budget Compliance - Gap Analysis within the assigned Department including Capital Project review and tracking.Mentor direct reports for continuous improvement.Assign and direct the department personnel in their daily tasks.Read, comprehend and perform to Quality System Documentation.Maintain housekeeping requirements within assigned areas.Understand and abide by company policy.Understand and comply with PPE requirements.Understand and comply with Health & Safety requirements.Essential SkillsExperience in electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair.Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting.Knowledge of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.Ability to read schematics.Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).Understanding of process improvement and project management.Knowledge of pneumatics, safety, and welding.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in facility management.Ability to handle daily repair and maintenance as well as work on projects for process improvement and budget management.Hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical maintenance and repair, and PLC troubleshooting.Why Work Here?

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $1150000.00

Full benefits including medical, vision, dental, 401k, and 15% yearly bonus based on global production metrics

This is a fully onsite position in Desoto,TX.
