Job Description
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team. The opportunity comes with a 47-year-old privately held business that is in a phase of growth, actively seeking talent to continue to improve a successful department. Much of the existing equipment has been completely rebuilt and many new pieces of equipment have been added over the last 4 years. We are fortunate to have tenured maintenance technicians and strong support from outside contractors and our other facilities. Aluminum extrusion maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
ResponsibilitiesSupervise a team of up to 16 maintenance technicians, a maintenance planner, and parts purchaser.Plan scheduled maintenance shutdowns.Work with production to improve processes.Ensure preventive maintenance tasks are completed properly and timely.Continue to build CMMS system with new PMs and mean time between failure analysis.Improve spare parts storage and management.Organize contractors for projects.Essential SkillsMinimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role in a manufacturing environment.Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.Experience with drives, PLCs, and HMIs is preferred.Strong leadership and communication skills to manage the maintenance team and collaborate with other departments.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Knowledge of safety regulations for manufacturing environments.Additional Skills & QualificationsTroubleshootingPreventive maintenanceMaintenance managementSupervisionHydraulicsAllen-BradleyPLC troubleshootingMaintenance repairBlueprint readingSchematic readingIndustrial maintenanceHMI programmingWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing, industrial, non-climate-controlled environment. The facility includes state-of-the-art equipment and a variety of manufacturing processes.

This is a Permanent position based out of Wylie, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
