The Maintenance Manager will oversee the maintenance operations of the facility, ensuring that all equipment and systems are maintained to the highest standards. This role involves leading a team of maintenance professionals, managing maintenance schedules, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance. **Main Responsibilities:** + **Leadership:** Develop, Lead, and Mentor a team of maintenance technicians into a high performing team fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Drive performance within the teams by setting SMART objectives and monitor progress by carrying out individual performance appraisals. + **Maintenance Planning** **:** Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime. + **Troubleshooting** **:** Oversee the troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, and control systems to ensure timely resolution of issues. Measure and optimize system performance. Must be available to respond to emergency situations on short notice and may be required to be on call outside of regular working hours + **Project Management** **:** Plan and execute maintenance projects, including equipment upgrades, installations, and modifications, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Participates and provides subject matter input for capital projects and problem-solving activities + **Compliance** **:** Ensure all maintenance activities comply with regulatory requirements, including OSHA, EPA, and cGMP standards. + **Inventory Management** **:** Manage spare parts inventory to ensure critical components are available when needed while controlling costs. + **Vendor Management** **:** Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services and equipment procurement. + **Documentation** **:** Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and compliance documentation.
