Maintenance Manager
Amentum
Directs and coordinates the overall function of the Maintenance Division.
**Essential Responsibilities:**
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Managing the daily activities of the entire division through the shop supervisors.
+ Assigns adequate supervisory coverage for each operation and shift.
+ Responsible for all resources, tools, equipment, property and other assets assigned to the division.
+ Adjusts resources to meet production requirements.
+ Responsible for the safe working environment of all employees within the division.
+ Enforces strict adherence to technical data and management procedures.
+ Ensures accurate daily documentation of maintenance actions.
+ Ensures that the Maintenance Division is meeting all goals of the contract with regards to Quality and Quantity of the work performed by all shops.
+ Develops, updates and maintains the standard procedures for the maintenance division sections.
+ Responsible for ensuring the identification and implementation of innovations and efficiencies are occurring across all contract operations.
+ Develop, prepare and report activities as required by Program leadership, customer and PWS.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
**Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:**
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or Management is preferred, but at a minimum, must possess 8-10 years private sector or military experience directly related to contract performance or equivalent. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills are required. Position may require travel. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
**Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:**
Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.
