**Job Title: Maintenance Manager** **Job Description** + Our company, a multi-plant contract manufacturer, is looking for a Maintenance Manager + We are seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance activities, ensuring minimal mechanical downtime and leading the maintenance department **Responsibilities** + Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff (custodians, janitors, etc.) + Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities including historical machine data + Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary + Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues + Develop and implement maintenance procedures + Manage relationships with contractors and service providers + Stay updated on the latest technology + Ensure compliance with health and safety policies + Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities + Hire, fire, coach, and train maintenance staff + Implement Lean Manufacturing, KPI's, and 5S methodologies + Manage discipline and actions within the team + Handle payroll, timekeeping, and task assignments + Schedule and address Preventive Maintenance Program **Essential Skills** + 5+ years in a supervisory/managerial position + 10+ years as a maintenance technician, including 5+ years working on CNC machines + Advanced knowledge of CNC maintenance (troubleshooting, repairs, gears, motors, valves, etc.) + Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC troubleshooting, and electrical systems + Experience and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and KPI's + Expertise in Preventive Maintenance programs and their execution + Ability to train and coach team members hands-on **Shift** **1st Shift:** 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
