We are searching for a professional like you to lead our Maintenance and Engineering teams, whose mission is to authorize, engineer and construct new facilities, modify/improve existing facilities, assure plant equipment reliability and provide corporate know-how and support. Reporting to the Pasadena Site Director, you will be responsible for managing and providing leadership as a member of the Pasadena Site Leadership Team. You will promote continuous improvement of maintenance process, lowered costs and uptime availability. You will exhibit strong consideration for safety, environmental stewardship and training and development.
In addition, you will provide the leadership and coordination for the administration and management of Alliance contracts and service agreements related to contractual support for capital projects and site maintenance activities.
As a Maintenance Manager- Pasadena, TX, you create chemistry by...Managing and overseeing the maintenance department including, but not limited to, technicians, planners, schedulers, and contractors, as well as the work management process. Setting department goals and objectives, monitoring performance against those objectives and coaching/managing performance.Successfully engaging outside of the organization, being the principal BASF Corporation representative to the alliance contractors and vendors for assigned services at the Pasadena site. Monitoring and assuring alliance contractors' and service vendors' performance, reporting on activities, resolving problems, and identifying opportunities for improvement.Involving the manufacturing organization to ensure a positive, trusting, and open process safety culture in each facility.Ensuring that process incidents are appropriately categorized and reported. Actively participating in appropriate process safety incident investigations and ensuring that action items resulting from investigations are completed in a timely manner.Providing effective and coordinated process safety support for the site.
