THE WORK
The Maintenance Manager, Huntsville AL will be responsible for providing Strategic and Operational leadership to the Global Sustainment Field Maintenance team in the execution of intermediate and depot level maintenance. The maintenance team technicians will be supporting both Huntsville based operations as well as traveling worldwide, providing organizational level maintenance and support of Sikorsky helicopters, including S-92, S-76, S-70, H-60 and 53K.
WHO YOU ARE
The Maintenance Manager, Huntsville AL will be expected to provide leadership direction for day to day operations of field maintenance personnel in technical, manufacturing and administration areas in support of maintenance projects based in the Huntsville area. The Maintenance Manager, Huntsville AL will ensure performance to schedule, as well as drive technical performance of field maintenance/modification efforts by coordinating resources, tooling and materials to satisfy numerous projects at this location. The successful candidate will also provide support to the Global Field Support Maintenance Manager in worldwide field maintenance efforts. This is to be accomplished by preparing project plans, proposal statements of work/BOEs, tooling specifications and requirements, as well as manpower scheduling and forecasting. Will determine staffing levels and coordination of contracting external labor suppliers, when required, adhering to program budget and schedule for mission success. The
Maintenance Manager, Huntsville AL will be the primary interface with the Commercial and Government Business Office in supporting Huntsville field maintenance proposal efforts. Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal Program concerns and external customer project reviews, evaluating cost, schedule and technical performance.
Good understanding of Part 145 operations
Applicant must be a holder of an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license and have extensive experience in an aircraft maintenance environment and experience in a supervisory role.

Basic Qualifications:
Applicant must be a holder of an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license and have extensive experience in an aircraft maintenance environment and experience in a supervisory role.
Ability to research and understand technical data such as Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, Blueprints, Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
