Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and planning cost-effective and timely maintenance operations essential for the functionality of all equipment and processes within the Processing Maintenance and Refrigeration departments. Key duties include directing, coordinating, and supporting maintenance supervisors and personnel, collaborating with contractors, vendors, or company engineering teams on equipment modifications or installations, and troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to equipment processes. This role also involves managing and maintaining highly automated systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and robotics. Additional responsibilities include coordinating and maintaining the maintenance training program for team members, assisting in budget preparation and oversight, organizing team member work schedules, ensuring the availability and maintenance of necessary parts and assets, providing information for managerial decision-making, and performing other duties as required.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a maintenance supervisor. Computer Skills: Proficiency in standard computer applications. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear and precise directions to the workforce.
Special Skills: Extensive knowledge in mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, refrigeration, automation, and maintenance training.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to make sound decisions and delegate responsibilities effectively.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise a team of maintenance supervisors and personnel performing related tasks and activities.
Travel: Willingness to travel 1-5 times per year.
