Maintenance Manager--Painting Operations
Due to an upcoming retirement, we have a GREAT OPPORTUNITY for a Maintenance Manager for our client's largest plant. Reporting to the Plant Manager you will lead a team of up to 15 maintenance techs in a 3 shift paint operation with 2 robotic paint lines.   Customer industries include automotive, marine and heavy truck.   As Maintenance Manager-Paint Operations you will: Establish departmental goals to support production, program launches, and strategic initiatives Lead the Maintenance team to achieve KPI targets Maintain the manufacturing assets of the plant Provide training and continuous improvement development of the Maintenance team Drive Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Develop and maintain associate safety standards Support ISO14000 and IATF standards   Your strengths to be successful should include: Associates degree or a Journeyman Card preferred  Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role Automotive manufacturing painting operations experience a MUST  Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment including paint lines, moving conveyors. robots and automation Experience with PLC controls Strong analytical and problem solving skills Strong communication skills Willingness to work a flexible schedule when needed   You will enjoy: Great benefits that begin DAY ONE of  your employment Being a part of a growing company that has grown from 3 plants to 8 plants in 5 states with over 1800 employees and is continuing to grow Having the opportunity for future career growth   Preference for local/commutable candidates but relocation assistance will be provided from near-by states.
