Our client, a leading entity in the research facilities industry, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the operations team supporting various research initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: 330 Jane Stanford Way, Stanford, CA 94305

Pay Range: $55/hr

What's the Job?

Perform highly skilled maintenance, repair, installation, and fabrication work on various mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Diagnose HVAC, minor plumbing, and minor electrical issues and implement effective solutions. Modify and fabricate equipment, ensuring optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair heavy material handling equipment, including mobile and overhead cranes. Provide technical guidance, instruction, and training to colleagues in the maintenance team.

What's Needed?

Minimum 5 years of experience in a related trade or Journeyman level experience. Strong knowledge of HVAC, minor plumbing, and minor electrical systems. Proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and equipment repairs. Ability to read and interpret schematics, including electrical and plumbing diagrams. Commitment to safety culture and proactive problem-solving.
