Repair and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as hoist motors, pumps, belts, fans air conditioners, conveyors, etc.Examines mechanical equipment to diagnose troubleDisassembles machines and repairs and replaces broken partsUses all types of power tools and hand toolsRepairs woodwork, minor electrical problems, plumbing and buildings.Adjustment of function parts or mechanical devices as necessaryPerform electrical work to repair or maintain company equipmentMove hazardous waste drums from still room to the hazardous waste storage areaInstall and configure new equipment as well as dismantle and replace defective or old parts and machinesPlan and manage the repair and maintenance of all equipment and buildingsAdjust necessary equipment to ensure efficient and safe operationKeep work area clean; observes all safety proceduresCarries out preventative maintenance program for all production equipment, mechanical devices, building and land, including maintaining maintenance records and preventive maintenance checklists.Benefits

High School Diploma or GED equivalent5 years of previous experience in an Industrial Maintenance positionA working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systemsThe ability to demonstrate mechanical / electrical knowledge through testingThe ability to climb and work from ladders, manlifts, bridge cranes, and roofs in excess of 30 ft.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbsMust be a person of passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional resultsMinimum five (5) years of previous experience in a general maintenance that has provided training in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and plumbing skillsMust have a high awareness for safety at all timesMust be able to work overtime as neededThe ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environmentThe ability to communicate and interact with co-workers in a positive mannerMust be a person of passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional resultsSalary range $24-$28/hour
