Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for building, installing, and repairing steam, hot water, and thermal fluid systems for our rental service fleet boiler units. This role involves piping installation and repairs for boiler units, mechanical repairs and troubleshooting for motors, pumps, valves, and fluid piping systems, as well as welding and fabrication of pipes, plumbing fixtures, and parts for boiler units.

ResponsibilitiesBuild, install, and repair steam, hot water, and thermal fluid systems.Perform piping installation and repairs for boiler units.Conduct mechanical repairs and troubleshooting for motors, pumps, valves, and fluid piping systems.Weld and fabricate pipes, plumbing fixtures, and parts for boiler units.Essential Skills5 years in a mechanic or maintenance related role.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.MIG Welding and fabrication experience.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Experience with motors, pumps, and valves.Industrial power equipment repair skills.Must provide own hand tools.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Willingness to work in multiple departments and take on additional tasks such as prep work, electrical tasks, painting, and cleaning.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of steam, hot water, and thermal fluid systems.Boiler maintenance experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position is based in a shop environment. A new facility is being built next door to the current facility to support the company's expansion.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
