**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic - 3rd Shift** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Mechanic for our 3rd shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventive and proactive maintenance to prevent equipment breakdowns, troubleshooting PLCs, and conducting repairs on industrial production or processing machinery. **Responsibilities** + Effectively complete preventive and proactive maintenance as per the schedule to prevent breakdowns on equipment involving electronics, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, or mechanical maintenance work. + Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment, including inspection, assembly, disassembly, and replacement as necessary (cappers, labelers, filling machines, palletizers, conveyors, packers). + Utilize the CMMS to open and close out work orders, check out spare parts, and other activities as required in the plant. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance. + Strong electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repair skills. + Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting. + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with welding is a + Proficiency in SAP is a + Experience with CMMS is a **Why Work Here?** We offer comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as life insurance and a 401(k) savings plan with company match. The plant can be hot, especially during the summer, and the work involves getting dirty while working on machinery. The maintenance team consists of 2 supervisors and 1 planner. The position is for the 3rd shift (6 PM - 6:30 AM) on a continental schedule with 4 days on, 3 days off, 3 days on, 4 days off. Training may occur on another shift, possibly 1st shift.
