SUMMARY
Bering Straits Professional Services, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Mechanic for the 29 Palms MCAGCC BOS Contract. Individual will install, repair, and maintain equipment and facilities at 29 Palms MCAGCC.

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications (applies to both this section and KSAO’s)
3 Years Experience Maintenance MechanicHigh School Diploma or GEDValid California Drivers license
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
Experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or Similar RoleGreat Understanding of Pneumatics, Hydraulics, and MechanicsFamiliarity using various Power tools and hand toolsProblem Solving and Organizational Skills
Preferred
Minimum 3 years experience working Maintenance Mechanic

Job is performed in an outdoor and office setting with exposure to desert climates. The work described is both indoor and outdoor settings. Additional outside job walks and inspections required.
