Maintenance Mechanic
Description: What’s special about this team: Our Maintenance Department is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facilities and manufacturing-related equipment at our Quincy, WA site. The Maintenance team is comprised of 6 highly qualified Skilled Trades employees. The equipment they maintain includes manufacturing extraction equipment, milling, concentration, drying and packaging systems, for facilities we maintain, HVAC, doors, gates, fences and support equipment. As a Mechanic on the team, your focus will be on performing preventative maintenance and repairs, diagnosing/troubleshooting maintenance issues, welding, and fabrication, emergency response to equipment breakdowns. This role will be filled as a Mechanic I, II, III or IV, based on background and experience. What’s special about this role: The position is dynamic and challenging, from diagnosing malfunctions on assets and systems to repairing or rebuilding equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and finding root-cause solutions to problems. At times, you will utilize your fabrication skills to work on existing equipment and install new assets. Required qualifications: Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience. A Journeyman certificate in a mechanical trade is preferred. State of Washington Driver’s license Knowledge of metal fabrication, welding, hydraulics/pneumatics, and building-related repairs. Ability to perform preventative maintenance, installations, diagnose/repair, and troubleshoot equipment. Skills to be successful in the role: A demonstrated history of being a dependable and cohesive team member. A willingness to maintain and advance skill level through personal effort and training. Strong attention to detail/safety and a high level of accuracy.
